According to the American Public Transportation Association, an investment in public transportation translates into significant increases in business revenues and profits with every $10 million invested in transit capital projects yielding $30 million in business sales. That's a win-win for everybody, including seniors, economically disadvantaged people and citizens with disabilities who need public transportation in order work, go to the doctor and participate in their communties. |
