Idea to send:	Topic Public Defenders Content Oklahoma should retire its current indigent defense system (a patchwork of state and county efforts) and create a state-wide Public Defender system, with district offices in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Enid, Lawton, McAlister, Ardmore and Weatherford. A state-wide stystem could provide quality indigent defense while also streamlining administrative costs. Missouri and Colorado have similar systems.
